Homecoming Week is almost here!
Homecoming Week is September 21–25, and we are excited to celebrate with our students! Below are our Homecoming Spirit Week dress-up days, along with information about the High School Float Contest.
Homecoming Spirit Week
Monday
REP YOUR SPORTS TEAM / CLUB
Show what you’re part of! Students may wear sports jerseys, team gear, club or organization shirts, cheer gear, letterman jackets, college or professional team gear, team hats, socks, accessories, or school colors.
Tuesday
REP YOUR FUTURE
Dress like where you’re going! Students may dress to represent a future career, college, military branch, trade, or other future goal. Ideas include doctors, nurses, firefighters, teachers, law enforcement, technology careers, artists, athletes, trades, business careers, college apparel, and more.
Wednesday
REP YOUR SQUAD
Elementary Students- Rep Your Tribe! Students should wear the color of their elementary tribe:
Altruismo – Green
Encantador – Orange
Reveur – Red
Wahi – Blue
Whakaute – Black
Zintzo – Yellow
High School Students-Rep Your Grade! Students should wear their class color and represent their grade:
7th Grade – Red
8th Grade – Blue
Freshmen – Yellow
Sophomores – Green
Juniors – Orange
Seniors – Purple
Faculty – Black
High school students may also coordinate with friends, teammates, or classmates. Dress alike, create a theme, and show your squad spirit!
Thursday (Homecoming Pep Rally)
REP YOUR SWAG: STREETWEAR vs. PREP
Pick your style and rep it with pride!
Streetwear: Hoodies, graphic tees, joggers, sneakers, baseball caps, athletic wear, and other casual looks.
Prep: Polos, button-down shirts, sweaters, khakis, dress pants or skirts, loafers, and other clean, classic looks.
Students and teachers…choose your side and help us see which style takes the day!
Friday (Parade Day)
REP YOUR TRIBE: STOMP THE YARD!
It’s Blue & Gold Day!
Wear your Marked Tree colors and show your school spirit. Students may wear blue and gold shirts, jerseys and team gear, face paint, spirit beads, school hats, athletic wear, class shirts, and accessories.
High School Homecoming Float Contest
This year, we want our high school classes to go BIG with their Homecoming floats!
$500 will be awarded to the grade with the BEST FLOAT!
The winning grade may use the money for something that benefits their class. Possibilities could include T-shirts, a pizza or bowling trip, prom decorations, or other class activities and needs.
Supervised Float Work Times
Students may work on floats during the following supervised times during Homecoming Week:
Sunday–Wednesday 5:30–7:30 PM
Floats may be stored inside the bus garage during the week.
Please note: While floats may be stored at the bus garage, there will not be covered protection from rain, so classes should plan accordingly.
We want students to have fun, be creative, work together, and show some serious class pride.
