Parents,
Incoming weather has us extremely concerned. The image below shows weather at 3:00. The threat of high winds, hail, and the possibility of a tornado at dismissal time with car lines and buses could be a dangerous situation. Due to the threat of incoming weather, MTSD will close at 1:00 p.m. at the elementary school and the high school at 1:10. If you are concerned and want your child prior to that time, please feel free to check them out. Please know we are only acting in the best interest of our children.

MTSD is proud to announce that we are bringing back our Fine Arts Night! This will include art work from our elementary and our high school with a performance by our high school band.
We hope you make plans to join us!

Marked Tree School District will not have school on Friday, February 25th. Students should complete AMI packets. If you don't have power and your family needs a place to stay warm, please call (870) 375-2266 before 9:00 p.m.

There is a chance that freezing rain moves into our area around 1:30. We are really close to the rain/freezing rain line. As your progress from 1:30 on, radar indicates that Marked Tree will be receiving some type of precipition. Safety has to be our number one concern as it pertains to our kids.
An early dismissal gives us an opportunity to get our kids home safely. In an effort to do so, Marked Tree School District will dismiss at 1:15.

Parents, please know that we are closely monitoring the weather. The possibility of an early dismissal is increasing. Please make sure you have a plan in place if we need to dismiss early due to weather.

If you plan on attending the regional tournament to support our basketball teams, you MUST order tickets online at the following website:
