Have a great week, Indians!

Dismissal will be fairly routine this afternoon. One adjustment that is being made is that PreK students will be dismissed between 2:30-2:45 and will use the K-6 loop. If you are a K-6 parent and pick your child up from school, do not be alarmed if people are passing you between 2:30 and 2:45. Bus parents, we have contacted those whose children we are concerned about getting home to make arrangements. All other dismissal procedures will be followed with no issues.
Hwy 149- All students must be brought to the main highway and student at Black Oak should be brought to the church.
Hwy 75- All students must be brought to Hwy 75 at their normal pickup time.
Capps Road (Coach Wright’s route)- Students from Capps Road must be brought to Hwy 140
Payneway route-All students must be brought to the main highway.
Please be watching carefully for buses in the morning.
PreK students will be dropped off at the front of the school using the K–6 drop-off area.
At the high school, all buses will unload in the morning on St. Francis Street in front of the school.
Elementary class pictures have not yet been rescheduled. We will share that new date as soon as it is confirmed.
We ask everyone to be extra cautious and patient. We know families are ready to return after being out for a week, and we wanted to be absolutely confident that we could do so safely. That is the reason for the late notification. We apologize for any inconvenience this created.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we get back into our routine.

These decisions are never easy, and we know they impact work schedules and daily routines. We are sorry for the burden this places on your family. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to put safety first.

Thank you for being patient. Stay safe!

Please stay safe and thank you for your patience!
Due to continued road conditions, Marked Tree School District will not be in session on Wednesday, January 28. We will continue to monitor conditions and will announce a decision regarding Thursday no later than 5:00 p.m. tomorrow.

We will continue to monitor conditions and will communicate any additional updates as we receive them. Please don’t forget that we have a warming station at the high school for those in need. It will remain open unless the school loses power or if not in use at 9:00 p.m.
Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.

We hope to see a great turnout tonight as our boys and girls basketball teams travel for conference play at Armorel. For those of you planning to travel, we want to make you aware that there is currently a bridge out on Hwy 140 from Lepanto, just before the Keiser turnoff. In order to avoid that, you can either turn off of Hwy 140 at Athelstan and travel to Armorel through Manila and Blytheville or you can avoid Hwy 140 altogether and instead go straight to Interstate 55 and travel up to the Blytheville exit to Armorel.
